Bin Tilter
Most primary processing lines start with shellfish arriving in bins, containers, pallet boxes etc. Using a bin tilter the shellfish is tipped into the first machine in the line. They are all stainless steel, have electro hydraulic action, controlled by the operator to deliver only what is needed by the line at all times. The size and lifting capacity are designed to suit the application.

Pneumatic Clipper
Tight secure closing of bags of shellfish going to market is a key factor in prolonging shelf life. Pneumatic Crimping with aluminium Hog Rings is the key to achieving this.
This Clipper is worked off a compressor, and is mounted on an adjustable stand to cater for different size bags.
Hopper Elevators
There is a wide range of Hopper Elevators to suit all shellfish species and tasks. All are built in stainless steel with nylon bearings, and a wide range of rubber or stainless mail belting to suit the task. They have variable speed electric motors in either 240 or 380V or with hydraulic motors for operation on boats.

Shell Crusher
The disposal of shell is an issue for most producers and all processors. Oyster and mussel shell is both a waste product and potentially a bye product of processing.
This shell crusher reduces the volume of the waste by a factor of five and transforms it into a product that can be safely spread on land as a fertilizer, or at least has reduced the volume going to land fill. Shell is fed from a hopper to a hammer mill that crushes the shell, and where shell disposal goes on in association with agricultural framing the resulting product can be beneficial to acid soils in particular.
